The journey
The Mara is not a place you visit, it is a place that keeps time. Between July and October, one and a half million wildebeest press north across the Sand and Mara rivers, and the plains carry the sound of it for weeks.

Day by day
The itinerary.
- Day 01
Nairobi to the Mara
Depart Nairobi after an early breakfast, descend the Rift Valley escarpment and reach camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive along the Talek river until the light goes gold.
- Day 02
Full day in the reserve
Out at first light with a packed breakfast. We follow the herds wherever the wind and the guides' radio calls take us, returning at dusk.
- Day 03
Balloon flight and return
Optional sunrise balloon flight over the plains, champagne breakfast in the grass, then the drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
